IROQUOIS FALLS CENTENARY

DESCRIPTION

This tartan was designed by Marilyn Chircoski, Fran Coté and Helen Deneault in 2012 to commemorate the founding of the community of Iroquois Falls, located in the Boreal Forest of Northern Ontario. Nature surrounds this community and the colours chosen for the tartan reflect this.

The two shades of green represent the trees of the Boreal Forest,
the two shades of blue are for our northern skies and our many lakes,
the white is for our winter snow and
the brown is for our claybelt agricultural soil.
