These two Laval tartans were designed and woven by Les Tisserins de Laval in 1988.
The colours dark red and blue are the city’s official colours. Dark red symbolizes the affluence of Laval and its grreat economic potential. Blue symbolizes the quality of life within the developing city. White combined with these colours symbolizes the French and British origins of Laval.
