This tartan was designed by Clare Sheldon in 2010 and is intended as a family tartan for the descendants of the family of Richard Hilliard Clare who lived in Prince George, British Columbia. The colours represent the family, its British and Irish heritage and the natural colours of the wilderness in central British Columbia.
