This tartan was designed by Norman and Jo-Anne MacLeod Russell of MacLeods Scottish Shops in Elora, Ontario with some technical help from Strathmore. It is for the sole use of MacLeodís shops who, in 1997 in co-operation with the Fairís organisers, commemorated the 75th anniversary of the Fair.
Royal blue and gold represent the Royal Familyís long connection with the show, and gold also symbolises the Canadian harvest, white is used to represent the Canadian winter, and green and red stand for the involvement of horses in the Fair.
** If you intend to weave or otherwise use any of these patterns, please be aware that you may need
