431 (AIR DEMONSTRATION) SQUADRON
"THE SNOWBIRDS"

DESCRIPTION

This tartan was designed in 2003 and woven in 2005 by Lochcarron for 431 (Air Demonstration) Squadron "The Snowbirds" of the Royal Canadian Air Force, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. "The Snowbirds" are the Royal Canadian Air Force's air display team, in a similar vein to the UK's Red Arrows. With a storied history going back to RAF Bomber Command and a legacy of aerobatic excellence, 431 (AD) Sqn is a touchstone of RCAF and Canadian pride.
[NB. This tartan was erroneously attributed to Snowbird Transportation Systems. Ref e170920]
