These tartans were produced by West Coast Woolen Mill of Vancouver. The first (above) was created for the American Bicentennial in 1978 but it didn't sell very well. There were two versions, each with an American eagle in the dark blue square - one version had a white eagle, the other version a red one.

The second tartan (below) is thought to have been produced before 1978.
