The Scottish Tartans Authority (STA) records the designers as Alec & Edith Armstrong of Victoria, whereas the Compendium has Alec & Anfrea Emmons. Both record the date as 1991. There is also a colour difference between the two recorded setts - the tartan depicted is the STA version.

The following note comes from the STA:

A rhapsody in colour reminiscent of our atmosphere and heritage unique to British Columbias capital. The tartan reveals old red bricks, granite stone, topped with turquoise oxidsised copper domes, accented with ox blood red, combined with hunter green and the warmth of Victorian old rose.

** If you intend to weave or otherwise use any of these patterns, please be aware that you may need the written permission of the designer or producer. This information can be found in the Scottish Register of Tartans.
