This is another of the ‘Fathers of Confederation’ series by Sainthill-Levine & Co Ltd. and woven by West Coast Woollen Mills. Sir Samuel Tilley was premier of New Brunswick until 1865, a keen supporter of Confederation, and later became a federal minister.
The design of this tartan is very similar to the Galt tartan, but with sky blue substituted for the royal blue.
