THE SHIP HECTOR
DESCRIPTION
This tartan was designed by Janice Gammom of Lyons Brook, Nove Scotia as a commission from the Hector Foundation. It commemorates the ship Hector which landed at Pictou in 1773 with the first 170 Highland emigrants.
