DESCRIPTION

This is one of a number of tartans named after the Fathers of Confederation. Sir George Brown was a newspaper owner and was an MP for Canada West. The Scottish Tartans Society noted that this range of ‘Confederation’ tartans were produced by Sainthill-Levine Co.
