This tartan was commissioned by Jay D Janzen, founder of Manitoba Cue Sports, Winnipeg
for Manitoba Cue Sports members to wear at formal events. It was designed by Maxine Scott in 2011.
Colours:
olive drab denotes military history and affiliation;
scarlet representing blood shed by past members;
gold to represent the enrichment provided to the people of Canada by members' duty, and
black for what had to be done for the benefit of all in the name of Queen and Country.
